The Lovehoney Classic 2.0 isn't terrible, but nor is it as amazing as a corded mains-powered toy should be. Given that it barely has more actual power than a much cheaper generic mini wand, there's little reason to get this unless you hate batteries (or really love the color schemes available). While I can't tell you the long-term durability of this wand, I can tell you that eventually, a generic mini wand will become unusable and won't hold a charge, ultimately becoming e-waste. Sometimes toys having a widespread phase of popularity is well deserved. I’m pleasantly surprised by this product as it was not at all something I normally go for. This is my second Pillow Talk vibrator, and just like the last one, it blew me away. It’s your standard wand, with a powerful motor and a few aesthetic touches that make it feel precious. After doing this job for a few months, sex toys tend to blend together. A lot of wands are the same with good quality, decent vibrations, flexible neck, etc. But Cheeky by Pillow Talk had my toes curling. It’s built like your typical wand: a little texture on the handle to give you grip with some metal and crystal accents for flourish, and a tall head. It does look a little out of place on this toy, but looking closely, you see that the top of the head is vibrating faster than the bottom. I’m not sure what effect this really has; all I know is the vibrations rumbled through me. The button has a Swarovski crystal inlay, it controls power and speed. There are two technical hiccups with this design. First, the you can only increase the speed while using the toy, you cannot decrease it. To decrease, you must restart the toy and begin at the lowest setting. Secondly, to increase the speed you need to hold the button down, not click it. It’s a super sensitive button and will turn off with a click. Lastly, there is a small, removable cap for the charging port on the bottom of the handle making it very easy to lose this little guy. Overall, this toy gives “I summer at the cape” vibes while offering rumbling waves, with a few user interface issues.

The Satisfyser Pro 2 is nearly the perfect toy. Its suctioning vibrations range from very gentle to bedshakingly powerful. Every other toy manufacturer should take notes on the layout of the Satisfyser button. One button for on/off, another with an up and down arrow to move freely between intensities. There’s no cycling between weird patterns or having to reach full power just to cycle back down to a lower intensity. It has genuinely always baffled me that toy designers can’t figure this one out, but finally, Satisfyser has. Personally, I’m not a fan of vibration patterns unless they’re really show-stopping. Satsfyser has one vibration mode utilizing air pulsing pressure waves with 11 intensity options. The only note I have is the shape. The head of the vibrator pokes out too far from the handle. It isn’t too bothersome while lying on your back. But to avoid being too annoyed when flipped over, I recommend positioning a pillow under your lower stomach to elevate your hips and get them higher than the vibrator. Otherwise, the toy will be rough on your wrists and hips.
